74th Illinois 101
County Open Tournament

The 74th Illinois 101 County Open Ty was held October
4th - 5th, 2008
in mall in Marion, IL at the Illinois Centre Mall Food Court.
Seventeen players from six states competed in
this 3-move contest. A pleasurable and
challenging tournament was had by all. Congratulations to Larry Keen who won the A class with John Grisley as the top Illinois player. In the B Class, Flavious Burgess won with
22 points and gets to move up to A group next year!
Earl Kennell and Roger Doll tied as the top Illinois B Class players. Thanks to
the Williamson County Tourism Bureau for their continuing generous support with
monies for a substantial prize fund. An excellent time was had by all
